Co-op Launch Progress and Summer Updates

We hope you're thoroughly enjoying the arrival of summer and the re-opening of the world now that Vermont has pushed past the 80% vaccination mark. The next few months are going to have many opportunities for fun, and we hope you include Full Barrel in your plans!

Upcoming Events:

  • Switchback Fundraiser: Sunday, June 27th 1-5pm - While the partnership we started last Fall got put on hold after the first party when the winter COVID surge hit, we're excited to announce that Switchback will be holding a benefit for us on Sunday, June 27th. We'll have a table at their brewery to talk to potential new members, and $1 of every pour of their new Octane Cat DIPA sold that day will go towards our launch expenses! There will be live music from 2-4pm, and the BTV Flea market will be happening next door, so join us and make an afternoon of it! Please RSVP to, and share, this Facebook event!

  • Old North End Ramble: Saturday, July 31 - The Ramble is an all-day celebration of Burlington's Old North End, and we'll be participating this year by having a homebrew sampling booth at the ONE World Market that takes place in the later morning to mid-afternoon. Keep an eye out for further details!

Space Launch Update: Lots of progress has been made and we hope to be able to produce and sell beer by mid-August. We've received our Federal TTB approval, formed the core operations team, and made some good progress on fitting-up the space. Our last major administrative hurdle is the City of Burlington zoning process. Once we're over that hump, watch for an announcement of our soft opening party!

Seeking Board Member(s): As co-op moves towards the end of our start-up chapter, we're looking for one or two members interested in stepping up into a board role to help steward the next phase of our organization's journey! The board meets once a month, with some committee work in between meetings, and we always make sure to conclude our meetings with a corny joke. If this is something you'd be interested in learning more about, please feel free to email me for more info.

Coming Soon: Fundraising Campaign: Once we've passed the Development Review Board meeting in early July, keep your eyes peeled for a fundraising campaign aimed at helping cover the expenses of our launch and first months of operations! It will include opportunities to get merch with the new branding, limited edition growlers that will give owners a discount on fills for the brewery's first year of operation, and "pre-sales" of discounted gift codes.

Cheers!

Matt Cropp
