Full equity is currently set at $100 for individuals and $200 for businesses, and paid-in member-owners have a right to elect and serve on the co-op’s board, as well as a share of any profits based on patronage. For a complete overview of the rights and responsibilities of membership, please review the Full Barrel Cooperative Bylaws.
We advertise member-only events in our monthly newsletters and on our member-only Facebook Group.
Any new members are added to our member mailing list. Please verify our newsletters are not landing in your junk folder to ensure you continue to receive our latest news/updates/events.

Like all co-ops, Full Barrel is democratically governed by our members on a one-member, one-vote basis. This means members elect the board of directors that guides the policies of the co-op, and participate in referenda on big strategic decisions (like moving forward with a space). We use Loomio, an online decision-making tool developed by a NZ worker co-op, to vote, poll, and otherwise engage our membership on a variety of topics.
One of the Co-op Principles is “Concern for Community,” Full Barrel strives to be a force for good in the Burlington community! We organize our members to participate in fundraisers for, and often pour member-crafted homebrew at, various non-profit partners around town.
